which short shifter do you have in your R?
which short shifter are you running in your type r? im thinking about getting the b&m one? any suggestions or warnings would be greatly appreciated.....
I met a guy this past week that has a B&M in his ITR. I am not sure if I liked it or not. It seemed really notchy to me. That is JMO though. I heard that the C's short shifter is really nice, but that is what I heard though.
If you want the best, contact kengs on this board. He's got a C's short shifter at a great price. (His previous buyer flaked.) FYI, C's is considered the best in the short shifter business.
if you must have one, C's is the way to go (as mentioned above).
personally, i just installed a $9 set of energy suspension shifter bushings, and DAMN did it make a huge difference! much improved gear-change stability, and the throws are much more solid.

I have a DC sports right now, but it's a little too notchy for me, so I'm going to go back to OEM w/ some new bushings....
I have also heard that I can use the OEM Del Sol Shifter for the same feel as our OEM one, but it's a little shorter...any truth to this? I have the Del Sol that I can swap out the shifters and throw the DC into that...

I had a C's in my EF. It definitely shortened up the throws, but it also made the shifting slightly notchy. -catch22-
yoshi - who's kicking himself now for forgetting to remove the C's before selling the EF

Me too. Getting rid of my ProTech shifter and replacing it with the stock with energy suspension bushings...I'm just waiting for the bushings to arrive so I can do the install.

Is there a C's short shifter available for Preludes?
i have a Neuspeed one and really like it a lot. shortens it quite a bit, but once you get used to it, it is sweet.
I also have a Neuspeed Shifter in my R. I also have one in my Civic. I love the feel and it doesn't rattle nor feel notchy. As mentioned a billion times, I always have positive feedback on how it sits (not too low, almost stock) and how it shifts!
