Default ? would a b18c block go good with a b16a head?

i have a b18c block and i was wondering if i should keep my b16a block or change it to 1.8, if so what do i need to make it run right and reliable?

Yes it will work, basically a poor man's ITR. There are tons of posts about this if you use the SEARCH function for this site. The increase in tq, will be worth it and power potential too. You'll need b18c head studs, a new head gasket and b18c timing belt for the swap though.
