new head studs needed?

Default new head studs needed?

i had just taken off my head to get my valvetrain replaced and i need to know if i should get new headbolts. i heard that oem bolts stretch or sumthing like that. i really dont wanan fork out 100bucks for new head bolts if i dont need too.

You are supposed to since bolts 'stretch' when torqued. This stretching can lead to improper sealant of the head to the block. I've seen people get away with using OEM's twice, but if you want to be safe then get another set. On second thought, get a set of ARP's since they aren't that much more then stocks and are reusable time and time again.
