Default AGX adjustables + Eibach Prokit..a good decision?

I have a 97 Integra RS. I was thinking of this AGX and prokit combo that's for sale at groupbuy. I want to lower it 1.5 inches. Will my wheels turn out like / \ this?

Anyone have this in their cars?
Now, I have no clue about suspension (among other things ).
Is this AGX adjustable gas shocks good? Cons? Pros?
How can I adjust the ride height? Is it easy?

And some shop is asking 100 bucks for installing suspension. Is that reasonable?
Any input would be great. Thank you.

That's a good combo for a daily driver. You won't be able to adjust ride height with the AGX...but they're still very good shocks. When it says "adjustable," it means that the stiffness of the shocks are adjustable, which is a great thing to have. If you're looking for a shock where you can adjust ride height, then go for the Koni Yellows...but even if you get those, you'll have to go through a lot each time you choose to adjust the height.

The Prokits will lower your car 1.3"...so you might not notice the negative camber. If you'd like a 1.5" drop, go for H&R Sports.

$100 seems reasonable. It's pretty straight-forward if you do it yourself, but it can be hell when bolts break.

Good luck.

There's this other springs called Eibach sport lines(?).. they're supposed to lower the car more than 1.5. I heard it was 1.8 Anyone have these?

AGX and H&R seems to be a good choice...thanx for advice.

Now I need to find out where I can get em for cheap.
Anyone know a good place, perhaps in South California?

I have the KYB AGX and Eibach Pro-kit combo on my Teg. The ride is very much like stock with the AGXs set to their softest setting. If you make the settings stiffer, the ride firms up nicely.

I don't have any negative camber problems. I would say my car was lowered a bit more than 1.3". More like 1.4"-1.5".

HTH.

What size rims do u have on those suspension settings?
I was planning on lowering about 1.3~1.5 and put on 205/50/15 or 205/45/16.

How do you adjust stiffness? Is there a bolt or something u turn?

i am going with the combo of h&r sport and AGX's. i diden't really want to go as low as the sport lines, will the H&R sports end up as low as the sport line after they settle?

I heard after a year or two, the ride is generally a little lower....but I think that's to be expected, no?

Anyways, if you get a good deal on the AGX + H&R's, PLEASE let me know, I want in.

Right now I am still running the stock wheels and tires...195/55/15

How do you adjust stiffness? Is there a bolt or something u turn?
For the AGXs there is a small screwdriver that you insert onto the top of the strut piston to change the settings. There are 4 settings that you can adjust the shocks too. Its really very simple.

For the AGX, coximport.com has them regularly for $340 at groupbuy center

I have the Sportlines, and they lower my car 1.8". No serious camber problems.
