theres really no need to lower ur compression, the a6 has about 9.1:1 compression stock...so with that u can run upwards of 10 psi without a single problem with decent tuning.

yeah the a6 compression is fairly low right off... if you want to go even lower you can get some new pistons and a thicker headgasket

To lower compression. First remove the airfilter. Second find a dirt lot and do lots of dusty donuts, taking care to drive through the dust as much as possible. _OR_ take a handful of sand and dump it into the throttle body while at full throttle. Low compressionwill quickly follow.

Thoes rods arent ment to handle 200 hp at the crank, and you want 200 at the wheels, so according to my calculations with a 15% drivetrain loss you will have 230 at the crank. not good on a stock engine, wont last more then 2 months. run lower boost or reinforce the rods at least.

If this were 2 years ago i would totally agree with that statement, but over the last 8 or so months there have been numerous people running higher numbers on bone stock a6's... Ive seen at least 2 that are runng over 14psi and making well into the 230-240hp to the wheel range. Its all about tuning and fuel management...running high boost on a bone stock a6 thats tuned is fine...but u detonate once and ur done.
