My baby is gone.... UPDATE on car 2000 #451
UPDATE: 2000 ITR #451
Car has not been recovered, and still missing since AUG 3rd..
Insurance is still in process, spoke to a claim adjuster 2 weeks after it was stolen and now its a waiting period, another words going through investigations. Minimum for auto theft w/o recovery is 90 days. GD.
Currently its day 45 w/o my baby and i surely miss the VTEC band.
GOOD NEWS: 1 out 4 claims has paided up. Lojack check for $595.00 came in the mail today 9/15. 3 to go.
BAD NEWS: what to get that is in the $20-30K price range w/o breaking the piggy bank. Any suggestions?
So far IS300, BMW 3s, 2003 Z 350, S2000 is a $30K price tag, that means $10K down, $20K owe
ouch... wallet not approved.

That sucks about your R man, I hope you get those other three claims--waiting must SUCK.
The IS would be a nice choice now that it's available in manual (or will be soon, which is it guys?), then you'll have OEM Altezza's! hah j/k but that's a sweet car. Scooby WRX isn't on the list, that's been one of my long-time favorites--maybe get a beater until the STi comes here? By then the Lancer EVO might be here too...guess that's all speculation at this point though. If you don't want to worry about practicality, how about an ol' skool Porsche? You could probably find a mid-80's turbo for around that price range--but that would probably be on a different list than the one you're making. Gawsh, what a hard decision!

S200 has no backseat..not a very good daily driver. Get a 2 year lease on the RSX-S, then when your lease is up get the WRX STi
Sentra SE-R V spec
Altima V6 5 speed
Maxima V6 6 speed
RS-X type S
VW Golf GTi - now comes with 205HP 5 valve/cyl VR6 and 6 speed tranny or 180HP turbo.
Lexus IS300 5 spped... thats what I would have got, but at the time they were only automatics... lots of potential if you're into hard core modding.
edit: Civic Type R or Si, whatever its going to be called.
-Kamil, who wishes he had all those choices when he was shopping for a car.

Man.. I saw an older Supra in black with some killer wheels... Guy sais it was chipped and running 330hp ( crank )... Probably worth what a new ITR was...
Thing looks like a possible consolation prize for the ITR..
WRX... looks like a cut off tercel (small another words), but have ***** and hauls. Test drove one a few days ago. that is on the list. but forgot to mention.
IS and S2000, $10,000 down and still owe $20,000
worth it? or should get a house? hummmmm.... can i say LEASE. But well see... I really want that 2003 Z350 but the USDM might have a different front end and rear in.. great.. here go again... see below:

Damn, I would love to roll on those.

About your choice. I would wait for the STi, and maybe the lancer EVO....I am just not all that keen on Mitsu reliability. The WRX is UGLY...if only we could get brand new EVO 5s....I love the way those look. Pretty much the only 4 door car I like, ever.

The Specs might be for USDM and maybe 2 trims to get. Why not, everything that they send over get cuts. RUMOR on the SKYLINE coming over as a Infinity but also decrease in HP.
Im i wrong?
Im i wrong?
The Skyline is looking as though it will come over as a sedan to compete with the likes of IS300, 330 ci, etc. It will be called the G35 or something like that. I still don't think that America as a whole would embrace a 400hp, TT, AWD monster like the Skyline GT-R. Or else, they'd buy that and no one would buy the Z.
I haven't heard about a smaller engine for the Z. Doesn't mean it won't happen, but Nissan realizes the mistake it made with the 280Z and then the 300ZX. Plus, with all the Japanese carmakers waking up to the US market...the bad-*** engine will make it over here.
