Anyone here no the best but cheapest place to buy a B16A1. I just got off the phone with the local import shop and they said for everything including motor and everything else its 3100$ that didn't sound to bad to me but the guy said labor is only 800$'s so it a be cheaper for me to get the motor my self do ya think? In anycase im looking for the best and cheapest place to get my motor from thanks in advance

 

He also said max time for the swap would be 3 days and on a paint job its only a week and its only 1200 whoa life is great i been hearing what i want to hear all morning

I am pretty sure the complete b16 swap over is 1,250 , you still will have to pay for shipping but it will still be cheaper then the other price the shop quoted you.

 

Why dont you just get it from NOYAN, they are located in manassas virginia. you would save alot if you just picked it up yourself. I got my engine there and its been running strong for 5000 miles so far. http://www.noyanusa.com

 

i got my swap from mid-atlantic engines in maryland. ive had it in the car for about 2500 miles and im happy so far. i paid 1750 shipped, and i thought that was high, but i guess if your buying it from a shop they are going to charge about twice the cost. i would definitely try to get one direct, and also put it in myself. with the right planning its really not too hard. bottom line, its worth it in the long run to research and get the best possible product, its a gamble.
