Oil light flashing on in hard cornering at low rpms??
I have a 91 accord and I have noticed that when I take a corner sometimes I will see my oil presser light come on. This only happens when the rpm are low. I noticed it when I was turning around in a parking lot. The oil presser light flashed briefly about halfway through the turn after pressing the clutch in. I have all ready done the obvious by checking and changing the oil and it still does it still does it from time to time. Just wanted to know if anyone else has this problem what is the solution???
We had the same problem on the race car, mostly in left hand turns. The oil was running up the pan away from the oil pump pick-up. I noticed it because the engine would fall off of VTEC.
We took the oil pan off (not hard) and welded a horizontal plate across about half of the deep part of the pan. No problems since!
