yes u will need to balance and blueprint and micropolish the crank. and a good reason for that muthofawker up der that says no is because LS block is not made to rev to 8kRpm or beyond so by doing some work on the crank will help eliminate some of the harmonic vibration at high Rpm that usually tear up ur fawking motor at high Rpm and it will ripp thru ur oil pump gear and after that.... all yo fawking bearings are good as well as yo bottom end ****.... so listen to the masters of the LS/Vtec people.. peace

your bearings and stuff will go bad and you will have a warp crank if you tend to take it up to8kRpm and beyond if you dont do work on the crank

to InitialDSR:

he never said what he was planning on reving to. He doesnt need to replace the rod bearings or crank bearings if he doesn't plan to

i said no because you dont have to but you should. Its not worth it if you don't do it..
i've researched a lot on ls/vtec and i know alot about it so don't try and shut me down

Ok this one is for you Lsintegra95

It's not matter of issue of changing the bottom end bearings specifically for an LS/Vtec.... it goes the rest of the other motors tooo

I mean to build a correct LS/Vtec.... replacing the bearings and balancing the bottom end is a wise choice.

another question is why you doubt him not to revv to 8k Rpm... i mean maybe he doesn't know the procedure of knowing how to build one so I am giving him all the knowledge on building one so that he doesn't regret of not replacing the bearings and doing some work on the crank in the long run.

I mean don't be a fawking smartass and reply back by saying "he didn't mention if he have a choice of replacing the bearings"

U KNOW exactly what he meant and why so don't try to come back on me like u just made me look stupid cuz u didn't and as a matter of fact don't be hating if i front you're brainless self on the forum... peace out homie... next time...please try to come back harder cuz yo **** is weak

u could do it easier with a p28,30,72,73 the p28 is knockless the others have knocks but u can get it removed in some cases the knock sensor will come on and check engine will light if u the ecu will run your vtec for and your ecu won't know u have it so u don't have to worry about codes but u might want to do a obd 1 conversion so u can run p28, or p30 jumper is 75 boomslang.com ht special or kenji can make u 1 he made mine with a vafc wire leads built in for 139

ok, theres 2 wires coming out of the pressure switch (one ground, the other goes to ecu) and then one wire coming out of the solenoid that goes to the ecu... and thats for the gsr ecu...so those plugs are not available in MY ecu, where do i put em? v-afc? which one...and the apexi thing has a knock sensor
