The Average Drivetrain Loss for Honda Manuals.
I think it's on average 12-13%, manuals are typically 15% but hondas are either very efficient or underrated. That is how i know it. correct me if i'm wrong.
but some guy thinks it's 20%. and we are having a little debate..

I don't have a bonestock dyno on my GSR, but I did dyno with only that intake resonator box in the fenderwell removed (otherwise bonestock engine and with heavier wheels and tires) and then I got 149.4whp (~12%loss). So if all the Hondas came without the resonator and therefore sucked in colder air, then they could be considered to be underated or have very, very efficient drivetrains.

I dynoed my 96 GS-R, 52K miles
akimoto filter on a stick
18 degrees advanced ignition timing
greddy SP catback
consistant peak 148 hp to the wheels, 117 torque. Warm and muggy Houston day, car needs valve adjustment, spark plugs, fuel filter.
I'm happy.
