Please Help!!!!! With Head removal
I've got a an 88 CRX Si, I have the Timing Belt revoved ,the 10 head bolts and manifold,along with hoses.and the damn head still will not come off ,i had three peolpe trying to get it off. ANY TIPS? Am i missing something?PLease respond soon trying to do Mini Me Swap . . . Plus i can start to see **** coming from under neith of the head.

you dont' have the headers still on do you? lol..
thats all that holds the head on.. those 10 head bolts.. now, if you have high miles.. the head gasket could be bonded on there.. so if i were you, ide just wack, or give the intake manifold a good karate kick, and it should break the gasket loose. but you really can't hurt anything.

look behind the block and under then intake manifold.. i think they'res a brace that connects the block and manifold together. i know the B16's have them.. but i never put them on, take up too much room.

and another thing.. dunno if you put it back on, but i think its just theyre to help the manifold with vibration.. ive been hybrid for about 5 years, and never had probelms yet, so if you want, you can just leave it off.. up to you.
