Default What is the story with polyurethane bushings with a B & M short shift?

I ordered my B & M short shift to go with the b16a swap going into my 91 GS, but then I heard about the bushing. Do I need to get these? If so what do they do?

Thanks for the help!

its not imperitive to get the bushings their just stiffer and have more control than the stock and limit side 2 side play when in a gear
