Cheapest site to order a d16a6?
I don't know of any sites that sell D16A6 engines, since it's not really considered a performance engine anymore and is not worth much. It is also easy to find, unlike B-series VTEC engines.
Try local junkyards or online classifieds. You're bound to find one; they pop up all the time as leftovers from engine swaps or wrecked cars, and go for anywhere from $100 to 500. You could probably get a DOHC ZC for around $400-600.

http://www.thepartstrader.com then try an advanced search and select your state. Since its usually alot safer to try and buy from someone out of there you can actually see in real life. Especially if you were buying your engine from Paris Hilton, I mean I would rather see her in real life, wouldn't you.
Shame you're not in the Pittsburgh area; I know of 3 D16A6 engines that are sitting unused right now . . . two at Matta Motors and one in my CRX.
