I'm new to the site, glad to be here! I now have a 1989 civic hatchback and I would to swap the engine. Is there an engine and tranny combo that will bolt in and give me more horsepower?

 

what model civic? for the most part any d-series will "bolt in", and give you some gains. if you really want more power go b-series. only a little bit more work and $$$.
