how much is my GSR worth
first of all its been in a accident. i rearended a guy like 3 years ago. the body is fine and drives great. the mechanic said the caster is off by 1 degree, but its not worth fixing. the frame is in good shape.
mileage, 120,6XX. its a 94 GSR.
mods are iceman intake, tanabe RM exhaust. exedy clutch and HAWK HPS (the street version ones)
suspension, KYB AGX, neuspeed sports, and ingalls camber kit.
rims stock, kumho 712 W rated 205-50-15s.
stereo, MB Quarts dynomat and pioneer head unit. the one w/ the dolphins.
about to do a 120k tune up. changing plugs to NGK prolly platniums and going w/ the wires if i get a good deal.
i paid $12k in 1999 when it had 50k miles on it.
let me kno how much my car is worth. never raced on a track, im more of a back road driving kinda guy. im looking into getting a 04 WRX wagon

first, id go off kelley blue book value of your car's condition stock. just follow the steps on the website:
http://www.kbb.com/kb/ki.dll/k...wners
then once you get a value there, estimate the value of all your mods and add that to the kbb results. it's not an exact value but it gives you a rough idea.

I am wanting to buy a 94 GSR, I only have 5k, Im considering buying a LS due to the rarity of GSR's, How much do you think i coould find a GSR for? I really want DOHC vtec and will be missing that B18c1 with a LS. Due you think its worth the wait untill I find a GSR?
Yes and no. A few years ago, I looked and looked for a gsr. Couldn't find one at a reasonable price, so I got a ls. I was happy until a friendly race with a friend's gsr. They're both great cars and both have great potential, but like everyone will tell you, it really depends on what you want to do with the car. I'd definately wait it out though.
ive been lookin since begining of July (check my sig) and absolutely no luck yet. im gonna stick it out till i do find my baby though.
and sorry to say but even though you spent plenty of money on those mods they really dont raise resale price at all.

basically the wagon is more practical. i want my next car to be the one that last me for a good 10 years. with family and all.
when im ready to sell, i'll test the market. u never kno, some rich suburban rice kid might take my teg for $6k

I think in a few years, the motor/tranny/axles/ECU/shift linkage part of the car will be worth just as much as the entire car...especially to older Civic owners.

KBB overprices your car. Go to NADA.com or even try edmunds.com. Then take all your mods, add them up, divide the total you paid for them by 2 and add it to the value. That will give you a closer value to what your gonna end up getting.
