Default d-series greddy turbo kit for $1500, but i have a gsr

my friend wants to sell me a greddy turbo kit and intercooler ... prob 1500 miles on the kit for $1500 my question is is it worth it? what could i use from it and what can't i... i know i cant used the exhaust manifold.. but what else... thanks.

Ya it would suck to have a GSR with no lag and lots of lowend tq and run high 13's. That would suck wounldn't it?

Unless the kit has an IC and comes with the emanage it is overpriced. But those little 15G's are alot of fun.

yeah, that turbo would spool so fast you wouldnt believe!

Honestly though, consering how damn high gsr's rev, as compared to the sohcs the kit was designed for, and that its a small quick spooling turbo.

chances are it'd die out in your top end.

if you dont mind that then go for it.

but otherwise you'd want a bigger turbo.
