try running it under water with dish washing liquid, or get a K & N filter cleaning kit. i dont know if that'll work since i dont know what a monster filter is.

 

use the comptech cleaner. its a foam filter too. Or you can buy the spoon cleaner kit from racer x or probably aj racing.

 

Monster makes their own cleaning kit, but I remember Alan @ AJ Racing told me to use just soap & water - u might want to ask him to be sure.

how much do the monster filters run for and do any aftermarket parts stores carry them?

 

mine is a EG version 2, which is about $50 and version 1 is about $100US
