Default can i weld these pipes with a mig welder

i want ot run them for ic pipes they are 2.5" and it says they are alluminized, can i mig weld these?

Yup definately worth $40 for two of those bends... where you getting them or is a private seller?

a local here is turboing is corolla but decided to go with 2" instead of 2.5

I use the same stuff 16 gauge with a aluminized coating on it for custom exhaust work.I most of the time tig mine but sometimes mig it.Always grind it as said before but I also keep some ceremic spray to paint over the welds after I am done to keep it from rusting.Just a thought.

Pipes will weld with anything, I do similar stuff all the time with my little mig. Just do small pieces at a time.

any amp draw will work, but a mig welder designed to run off low voltage has to pull more amps to be effective, its better to use a 220v mig because it actually draws less amps, but more effectively

skill has everything to do w/that tho

(usually twice the voltage is half the amp draw, and a 220v mig will draw more than what it should)
