Default Some questions about a OBDO ZC to B20/VTEC OBD1 swap...

Some questions to help me along with this (very confused)...
(I have a DX with a ZC converting to OBD1 Hondata for a B20/VTEC swap)

I think I will buy a blownHatch ECU conversion harness so I can avoid any major **** ups.

- Can I keep the resistor box, and just use OBDO injectors?
- Can I use a 92-95 teg Distributer King distributer?
- What 4 wire O2 sensor do you reccomend?
- Any reccomendations?
- Any COMPLETE DIY pages to help with this?

Thanks for any help!

And your answers:

1. Yes
2. As long as it is OBD1 Bseries VTEC distr...you are set.
3. Most 92-95 civic, integra O2 sensors are fine.
4. You are doing it right.
5. I will provide you with basically everything you need to know to do the OBD0-1 conversion. Just have to cover the basics on the Dx to Zc conversion.

i'm doing the same setup, but i'm curious about the whole obd 0-1 conversion. does'nt skunk or hasport make that jumper harness? and if they don't what exactly does your conversion change blownhatch? (sorry for reviving an old thread)

Reviving an old thread is never a bad thing...

The Skunk2 conversion is an OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness.

I'm sure Hasport makes one but they're most likely the most expensive.

The only other one that I've found other than BlownHatch's is Boomslang in the sponser market place forum.

The conversion harness just adapts the OBDO ECU plugs for an OBD1 ECU. It also includes instructions on the misc wiring needed (O2 sensor, Knock sensor...ect) and the additional parts needed.

Skunk does not make an OBD0-1 conversion harness. Hasport buys them and sells them.

I build all my conversion harnesses using OEM pieces. All brand new OBD1 parts. Very soon 1 other person besides myself will be using the FACTORY Pneumatic crimping machine. All of my pins are crimped at the manufacturer to ensure a perfect crimp. I offer a lifetime warranty, lifetime tech support and all around a killer product. In regards to the boomslang quote, if one more person emails me asking me for help with his harness, I am going to start charging him for tech time.

All you need is either both the OBD0 distributor plugs or both the OBD1 distributor plugs. Match the wire colors and then determine the 2 extra white wires on the OBD0 side. You basically just want 2 mating plugs. OBD0 or OBD1.
