Please provide the VIN of the car so we can call NHTSA and EPA to verify that it has been imported legally and conformed to all US safety and emissions standards. My guess is that it was imported illegally, since Motorex doesn't hardly ever do non-GTR Skylines, and it's especially suspicious because it's a 96 which means that it would have to be converted to OBD2 specs and Motorex is not touching (nor have they been) any 96+ skylines for months and months now.
Oh, and btw guys, a 96 R33 GTS-T can be had for well under 300,000 yen (about $2500 USD). Slap exportation fees, and freight shipping on a boat from Japan to Cali and the most this company spent on this car is probably easily less than $5k. So they want to make $15k+ off some *SUCKER* here in the US who has dreamed the dream like everyone else about buying a Skyline.
Illegally imported RHD Hondas are one thing. They are very common in California. Yes it's possible to register any car if you can find a moron at the DMV that doesn't know what they're doing. That doesn't make it federally legal though, and with Motorex and RB Motoring protecting their interests, they are *VERY* keen on reporting illegal Skylines to NHTSA and EPA and they have had many of them confiscated from their owners and later the cars are destroyed or exported at the owner's expense.
Buyer beware on this car. Don't be stupid and pay more than what it's worth, which is probably not more than $6-8k USD. Even then, you will be risking getting in trouble with the feds if anyone ever reports you or NHTSA ever randomly finds out about you. Also, good luck getting it registered and then insured. And lastly, if you do get it registered and insured, you better hope you don't wreck it 'cause you could face *BIG* lawsuits and non-coverage by your insurance company for driving a non-conforming vehicle.

TTT we have haterz on this thread againi. If you are interested E-Mail me at blitzedmotorsports@yahoo.com guys.
25 g's for a r33 gts-t? there's a shop in la that offered me an r32 gt-r vspec2 for 12 grand.. of course they told me up front no registration, etc, that I'd have to do it myself. but it was nice looking at a $12,000 price tag on a skyline..

nice way to avoid the issue. why don't you step up and provide the VIN or admit that it's legal, and that you're trying to make HELLA profit off some sucker.
