how do you primer a body kit?...i know you have to sand it...and then i heard soemthing about wet sanding...can someone tell me the directions?

 

get a bucket of water and your sandpaper and get your sandpaper wet then start sanding with the wet sandpaper.

 

Let a running hose pour water well you wet sand.

 

NO man. all i want to know is how to do the whole thing. i jsut bought the kit off some guy what has it painted green with clear coat. what do i start doing to just primer it black. can i just paitn over clear coat?

 

sand it down with 400, remember to use yor plam not your fingers using your fingers will make the surface uneven n make the paint job look like poop)
then get it primmer then wet sand it with 500 then get it painted

 

my body kit is still just urethane... what grit do i need to get to sand it so that i could primer it....
