Default Which way to go with GSR

I am thinking of buying a Integra GSR preferably a 95 model. Which would you rather do to the car if you had it.

supercharger - for a wider power band.

i voted for turbo....

if you have the funds... then by all means turbo, and never look back!

but... if you're poor like me... you just stay all motor

I went the all motor route to start. Had a TON of fun. Love the sound of nearly 200whp screaming through vtec. All motor has a ton of potential and lots of fun.

I've now decided to go turbo. I voted for turbo above because the darkside grabbed me by the neck and pulled me in. It has everyone by the collar, the ones that want to experience the fun, jump a little bit and the darkside yanks you right over

Ive had two supercharged Integras, an LS, and a GSR. The LS was very reliable, but not fast at all. The GSR's blower had horrible chattering issues, and we could never fix it, and Moss's customer service sucks ****. The power is nice, but peaks out fairly early compared to turbos due to heat issues. I would go turbo.

Go turbo. I was starting down the N/A route when I discovered that to get the kind of power that I wanted from the car I was going to need 12.5:1 compression and a lot of valvetrain work. And I still wasn't going to be as quick as a bosted car. Not to mention when you don't want the power or you just want to take it easy, you can turn the boost down.

Focus on bigger brakes, better tires, and a firm suspension. Our cars aren't that bad for being FWD, and suspension upgrades will further improve your driving experience.

If I had $4k or $5k (that I didn't care about) I would go the route listed above before upgrading to a turbo.

everyone always asks this question...no1 ever really adds to the list of choices something very important:

all-suspension for auto-x, which will be my route with a few power upgrades.

I agree with patdemps....

I have an all motor gs-r , and even though it's a wonderful thing, you have to be between 6000-8500 to really get anything out of it. The scream of the engine is really something, and if you was to track the car and really push the chasis, the all motor setup would be great.

But nothing beats a turbo woosh and pull. Once you feel the snap-your-head-back acceleration, nothing else will suffice...

Turbo all the way!

If you want to go faster with less money, go turbo.

Your BOV sneeze will make your friends think you're "Super Tite JDM!!" too.

Since your emmissions aren't strict I'd go turbo. Do a compression test of the engine first before you go crazy with spending money on it
