Default Kyokugen Lug Nuts

Ok, so i found these on group buy center for 55 shipped. I was talking to my friend, Billy Bob and he wasn't too impressed with them....Did a search, I only found an instance where the lug got jammed cuz of an impact hammer or something....anyone using these/have experience/know anything more??

Yes splinedrives are COOL!

Ive heard of the strenght of the ky-- being questionable, and the key like mentioned above warped, not saying it'll happen to you but just warning ya.

Like EBC brake pads, questionable quality also, some people say they are good, some say they are bad.

SplineDrives cost 95 USD (though it does come with a set of wheel locks); personally, I'd save money and just stay with what you've got.

i have them, regular changes with a cordless drill and 80 lb-ft. torques, no problems yet (probably changed them a good 20 times, owned since early spring)

I was the one that had the problem w/ them on the post you probably saw...I had two sets of keys go bad and they were torqued on my car so hard, I needed to beat a ratchet on to them to pull em off! Not recommended, at any price.

I'm still looking for a replacement set that is good quality and comes in black...

Hmm getting mixed reviews. I gotta stop wasting money on this stuff. Save up bigger and better stuff. Btw, F1 Soul, which lug nuts are those off your car?

The nicest ones I've seen are the Ray's lugs but the black ones are ALWAYS on back order. They give us like 10 sets every few months and they sell out instantly then no lugs for another few months. They are pricey though. I have a set in blue on my car and they work great.
