Default Best pistons for LS turbo

I want to do an LS Turbo, and i was wondering what are the best cheap pistons i can use for this, are any stock pistons forged? i only want to run about 6-8 pounds of boost, and i dont want to spend big bucks on custom jobs.

stock pistons forged? no stock pistons are cast aluminum and with 6-8 lbs you will be fine with stock everything(internal wise)

If you only want 6-8psi leave the block 100% stock. Boost 10-12psi on an LS Block its worth it. Compression is 9.2:1.

10-12 with new pistons and rods???? I figure anything pass 12 and up would need it on ls.

Thats good to know. I'm looking to turbo in the future and I don't want to have to spend a dime on anything besides the turbo setup itself. Thats going to be expensive enough for me. But first I need to find my oil leak in the engine.(rings/seals)

Most that have fuel management other than a FMU tend to boost 10-12psi on a stock block.

Well im going to piece my own turbo kit together, i have had alot of 2.3 turbo fords, and i have spare turbos, intercoolers, piping, injectors, downpipes, lots of stuff, and the IHI turbo im going to use has ultra fast spool time because its so small, it would be nice to have an LS with 10 psi, you dont think rings would be a good idea to change? possibly ARP rod bolts? As for my fuel setup, im thinkin of going with a walboro 255 pump, Adjfpr, and my 38 pound ford injectors, how would i make them work with my p28?

I rebuilt my block prior to putting the turbo on. I used all stock parts. I am boosting 11 psi with an SFP manifold and a turbonetics t3to4e. Fuel supply is uberdata with 450's for now, planning on going hondata and 550's very soon.
