I have no idea as to which exhasut i should get i have an 98 ls 2dr. with no mods at all in fact this will be the first thing i'm doing with it besides my enkei's. anyway any suggestions will be appreciated. keep in mind that i don't care how loud it makes it.

greddy evo or the apexi N1...but why waste money on an exhaust?

 

which would be better an hks n1 style or the apexi n1

 

custome pipe with any muffler would be good

 

also what would be a good suspension for an ls with 17 in tires even with stock ride height i grind out in turns and i would loke to eliminate this problem

i suggest the greddy evo for a quitier exhaust but if you do insist on an N-1 you should go with mandrel bent piping and any muffler like ggang said

 

all these people spittin out n1

n1 is way too loud for me....

evo is a good choice though, but what are your future plans? if speed is not in your future, why not get just a muffler instead of the full catback?

p.s....i have skunk2...not too loud at all, but i do like the apexi WS, but its too restrictive for my motor

I think you wont get anything more then biased answers, i like my N1 alot but wish i would have gotten the RS*R Ex mag because the way it looks and it seems to have just about the same power gains as an N1

with just an exhaust i doubt you will gain any power, but i think i saw a dyno comparison on afew exhaust and i believe the numbers were very similiar between the apex and hks, the dyno was of a wrx but im sure they would still perform similair, comparison wise, not hp

 

to tell you the truth...no catback alone will get you more than 2-3 whp

so it just depends of what look/what sound you like

if you lookin to all motor, evo, n1 and hks all sound fine, but i wouldnt get more than 2.25" piping cause youll lose way too much backpressure
