anybody use a mitsu starion turbo?
As far as I know it's a TD05 16g...
It's a great turbo for a D series, or a VERY peppy feeling B series turbo setup.
FYI, it's VERY similar to the turbo on the new Mitsu Evo VIII's.

according to a turbo dedicated site, the turbo from a starion is a tc06, probably similar to a td05. i think it's pretty close in flow to a 16g. you'd be better off with a big16 or t28. unless you want some serious power, then a 57trim, 60-1... check out http://www.slowboyracing.com or www. agpturbo.com
it would be marginally better; depends on how much you can get it for. i found a big16 over http://www.thepartstrader.com for 150 (though the bearings were worn) and a small16 for 175 (about 1400miles on it). shop around a bit, look on http://www.dsmtrader.com too, there are often t28s on there for a pretty decent price
16g's for under 200 dollars are probably junk. Good, even decent ones go for 300-500.
The small 16g and the big16g are VERY CLOSE to being the exact same turbo, in fact, the small 16g is going to be more efficient at boost levels less than 25ish psi. That means that you guys should stick with the small.
Also, the small is NOT too small for a turbo Honda!! It can make well over 330 whp, making it much better that most kits come with.
Without any more information about the Starion turbo, I don't want to comment and be wrong.
