Anyone have troubles with VSS?
WEll im trying to get my mechanical vss outta my si tranny to replace it with an electric one so i can run my jdm cluster. and im having a bitch of a time getting the mechainical one out.
Ive tried just bout eveythign i could think of and i dont really want to break it off, cause that happened to me before and wasnt very good.
Anyone have any good ideas, tips to get the old one out?

grab it with some chanell locks and twist it side to side and it should break loose then you can twist it some more and pull up on it.

yeah i tried vice grips with twisting...just stripped it and it was hella tight. Then i tried putting a wedge under the vice grips and use the vice grips to hold the sensor while i pryed down on the other side and still nothing! i really want to use my jdm cluster!! any more help?
tighten them down more
tight as you can get em! and twist that bitch loose. It always worked for me. Also could try soaking some liquid wench or WD around it too.
