i dynoed my gsr motor couple of weeks ago untuned for a baseline est....these are my mods...

untuned the car put out 181hp @8000....ive added a bbk 62mm tb...and have yet to put on the not so shitty dc jdm 4 1's....and then with some tuning im hoping i should put out over 200 wheel hp....

One word, Compression
Get some higher compression pistons, JDM ITR with 1 piece gasket for 11.4:1 or CTR pistons with stock gasket for 12.2:1

all we did with my setup is take one layer off the headgasket...we checked cylinder compression and it was 285 across all 4....if any of you are from the ny,nj, or ct area...you should all know jd of tnt....we called him up to verify if this was possible and he told me one thing.....CAM2....
I already have a High Compression MUGEN Head Gasket. I am getting like 245 - 255psi Per cylinder.
Those cams need compression, you'll need a better header, better exhaust a ecu to rev to 9k, retainers.and or vafc. You'll probably just get in the low 190s if your lucky. you need more compression. Gonna take a lot of tuning , you'll need to bring to a place that has a af meter. I dont' think there's one in miami. up here there is.

heres what it does not have...
1) Race gas...(it runs on 92 octane)
2) Head milling (head is stock, NO MILLING)
3) more displacement. (its still 1.8)
4) aftermarket valvetrain (its stock GS-R valve train)
5) A crazy header, or no exhaust (Stock HONDA header, full exhaust ON with
muffler)
6) Crazy intake. (Nope a measely $170 intake commonly sold anywhere, tons
of people have it)
7) SUPER HIGH COmpression. (Nope, runs on 92, again, timing 17)
8) NOS? Supercharged? Turbo? (Nope, its all motor)
9) head porting, any polishing of ports? (Nope, its stock, none)
10) the cams are huge? (Nope, couldn't use stock valvetrain if they were,
so No, its not Toda B OR C cams)
I will leave it up to your imagination. Or, if you want something similar,
I will install it in your Civic Hatch for:
8k installed. All same parts. It will make over 190-205 for sure at
wheels.

That site is nice but I hate the fact that the majority of the motors on there do not specify what compression they are running, I hate it.

im hitting just over 200whp..stock itr cams..11.5:1 compression..mostly mugen parts..




if I put all that money on spoon products and only get 177 whp
