Default Where to buy stuff in Japan?

My cousin is leaving next week to go to Japan and I was going to give him some cash to buy me a boost controller. He will be staying in Osaka and Kyoto. Can anyone help me out for I can let my cousin know where to go? Also, how much should I be able to pick up a Greddy Profec B Spec II for?

Thanks

Thanks for the help. Are these places in Osaka? Also is it any cheaper to buy a boost controller over in Japan than the U.S.

Since the yen rate is horrible right now you'll be better off buying a new boost controller in the US. Yur best bet would be to try to find parts that aren't readily available in the US.

"parts off" is the ****..
it like a thift store for racers in japan..

remeber whenn you buy a boost controller in japan, you will only get japanese instuctions.. i know i lived there.
i say just get one here, itll come with english instructions, customer support will also be here, in case its defective

on the keihan train line (runs betwixt osaka and kyoto) get off at Kuzuha station and goto the bus stop. take any bus labled "16" (a,b, or c) to the Suiyaku exit. You will see Upgarage off of your LEFT side. Its big as all hell. The bus ride is 220yen.

Exchange rate SUCKS *** right now and it doesn't look like it is getting any better.

For the secondhand autobacs, take the keihan line to the Yawatashi station, get on bus #72. I forgot the stop name but you will pass this car dealer that is selling silvias and other old cars, it is one stop after that. Exit the bus and walk to your right along the highway for about 1/8th of a mile. Autobacs is tucked away to the right.

there is a super autobacs in takatsuki, which is by Hirakata. Goto hirakata station and ask someone which bus goes to takatsuki, once on the bus you can't miss super autobacs, its big as hell.

i hope you speak japanese, because none of the guys at the car place do.
