quick AEM CAI install question
I finally got my filter in today and i wanna install my CAI. How does the filter attach to the piping? The end of the filter just seems to be a rubber element, do i clamp that onto the piping?
I don't have a CAI just a short ram but yes, you just slide the pipe into the rubber opening on the filter and clamp it down with the provided clamp.
alright cool, one more, do i need that damn breather hose?
or can i put one of those little filter things on the valve cover opening?

to me the little filters are just really for looks. i mean you arent gonna gain anything either way so its really dependent on what u want ur engine bay to look like. i personally would go and get a t splitter

Am not very familiar with a GSR but if all the hoses that are connected to your old intake connect accordingly to your AEM, then there's no need for T splitters. Basically you only need T splitters if lets say your old intake as 2 hoses connected to it and the AEM only accepts 1; so the t splitter would connect the 2 hoses as 1 to connect to the aem intake pipe.
