Default Running the p72gsr ecu in the h22a???

Just wondering if anybody run the p72 gsr ecu in their h22a,coz someone told me it has a higher fuelcut and it can take advantage of the aftermarket cams, but i am not too sure is there any different about the fuel and ignition map.By the way they are both obd2,any info will be great,THANKS.....

The GSR ecu's timing is way too retarded for the h22a.

sorry to hi-jack, but does anyone have an idea how much i should advance the timing on a p72 map so that it will resemble more that of a p13?

A P72 with the stock GS-R fuel and timing maps on a H22A runs dangerously lean if you use it on an H22A.

well I was planning on chipping it and tuning with uberdata, that's why I need to know what would be a good basemap for a stock h22 to tune it from there....And I can't chip a p13 with uberdata so don't say that, let alone any other rom editor. Anyway it's just a question it doesn't seem like anyone can answer to me anyway and I'll have to just figure it out on my own.

compared to not running at all i guess you could say its fine

but otherwise, no they dont, they suck unless tuned with hondata

i ran it for a while on my h22a hatch.
i had great power below 3500 rpm and above 6000rpm, but midrange was abyssmal. i also passed emissions with it too though.
i would not recommend a stoock p72 if you want power out of your engine. best thing to do with it is hondata or chip it with an h22a specific map.
