Default sylvania silverstars vs sylvania cool blues

are the silverstars worth the price difference? I just don't want to waste my money if the cool blues are pretty much the same as the silverstars

I got the silverstars for my mom's accord and IMO they were a waste of money. I'd go with the cheaper sylvanias.

the cool blues are a waste of money they have just a spec of blue tint to then you can hardly tell between a regular bulb. now the silverstars are nice bight bulbs and are worth the money they look nice in my opinion. by the way how much are they going as in price where u are located?

I work at Kragen's, and the silverstars are $49.99 a pair. I have some and I am satisfied with them, they're bright white compared to the stock halogens, and still street legal. The Cool Blues are a waste of money, I put one on the left side of my integra and left the stock one on the right, and couldn't tell the difference between the two, even at night!!!

What's the 9005 conversion?

I also have silverstars and I like them a lot. Significant difference from my old halogens.

Well I'm talking about 50 bucks a PAIR. That's before associate discount. The price changes depending on the area where you live. For example, in San Jose a part can be like $59.99 but in Salinas the same part is $49.99

it tells you on the back of the box the difference in illumination
I stood there for like 30mins deciding which to get, eventually I went with the silverstar and am glad, they're nice and bright compared to the old stock bulbs I had
I'd go with the silverstar instead of the blues if I were you. blue's look cool but lumination wise are 2 or 3 tones less than the silverstar if I remember correctly

I work at an Advance Auto store and for the next two weeks, if you buy any high end sylvania headlight( xtravision, cool blue, silver star) you get one normal price and the other one half off. Just thought i would mention that beause the silverstars are a really decent headlight.

As posted above the guy with the noyka bulbs those are awesome bulbs. I have the nokya arctic purple bulbs 9006's and the 9005's those are really bright and have that nice hid effect to them. I highly recommend those bulb to anybody wishing to upgrade over a stock bulb. they are relatively cheap in price I got all for bulbs for $29.00 bucks off ebay.

If you are wanting to get "good" headlights save up just a tad more over the silverstars and buy some PIAA's. You WILL NOT be dissapointed
