Just noticed this, auto tranny and 5spd tranny's use different O2 sensors? y?
I tried searching for this topic, but nothing came up. I purchased a Denso "first time fit" O2 primary O2 sensor for $65 shipped new for my vehicle. (See sig.)
Well, the part number matches up with the 5spd primary O2 sensor. I didn't know there was a different until I went to http://www.oxygensensors.com. Even Denso's website makes no mention of this.
After examining the plug on the new Denso, it looks just like the OEM one on my car currently. What's to keep it from working with my auto tranny? Also, a 5spd swap is my car's next planned upgrade which will be soon I hope (depends how $ goes) so even if it doesn't work, I could just save it I suppose.
