I'm seriously thinking about getting some Spoon Sw388s, and I refuse to put Rotas on my ride for ethical reasons. Does anyone feel they are truely worth the price? Any input would help, and pics of them on a REX would be nice. Thanks in advance

 

Not that they arent dope........

BUT!! never in a million years would I spend that much ******* money on rims.

but if you want to go for it, they are dope

I have them on my rex, was actually gonna trde them for a another set of rims but couldnt find anything yet. They look sick but most people do mistake them for rotas and Im going pretty much show and audio so they really dont suit me well

Just depends.if you wanna do it just to be a real true-to-tha-game JDM showmasta,don't..if you're truly concerned about performance and saving every bit of unsprung,rotating mass possible,do get them.
i have real EVOs on my coupe,and consider it worth it.
on my daily driver beater,i have SW knockoffs because the small performance gain(and high cost)isn't worth it on my street-driven-only car with 120HP.

Well my car is by far not a show car, it has its share of backroad wounds, infact it's covered in them. Who knows if a deal comes up I'm sold...otherwise thanks for the posts guys

One set of Spoon rims or 16 flat black Rota Slipstreams...hmmmmmm. Both look like **** and both weigh next to nothing, so I'm going to go ahead and say Rotas.

And what "ethical" dilemma is the originator talking about? The ethics of buying something that looks and functions like a popular item but costs 1/4 of the cash? LOL.
