is there a difference in fitment onto a 98 ek for a ctr or itr steering wheel with airbag? also, does the year of steering wheel matter due to the wiring of the airbag. i am planning on getting a ctr/itr steering wheel for my car but i am afraid of losing my airbag function.

 

I haven't done this, but I've been told that the CTR wheel will fit, but the ITR won't. As for the harnesses, if they're not direct fit, you can use some wires to connect what's needed. Just make sure to solder everything for a good, secure connection. HTH.

 

if you have a EK, then only a EK9 or CTR steering wheel will work, DC or ITR uses the same hub as EG civic so its no go...

 

Anyone know the diameter of the CTR wheel?

 

not the best answer but compared to my MOMO Corse my old JDM ITR/CTR (they are the same with a difference in the hub) which is 350mm, it was the almost the same....
so 350-360mm is about right
