Default Shift points determined by engine strength

From what I understand... revving high in early gears is not "as bad" on the engine as revving high in later gears - correct?

Thinking strength wise, would a stock B20 bottom end be able to safely rev to (for example):
7600 in 1st
7400 in 2nd
7200 in 3rd

Or is 7200 in 1st the same as 7200 in 3rd...or 4th?

Thanks for any insight.

The thing that sucks for us is that our crank is not balanced like the VTECS. So as we reach higher rpms the force of the unbalanced crank gets heavier and heavier. Which was a major problem back in the early days of LS/Vtec conversions. I have heard of a guy in CA, who can micropolish the crank for $100. So getting back to your original question. Yes, the bottom end will stand up at those RPM's but, for how long is a different story
