hey hey looking good! i'm planning to go with benson too! how much did the block cost you all together?
also did you match the combustion chamber of the head with the over bore block?
what's your setup?

Yes, it got un shrouded to match the bore size.
Block, i bought the CP's from Dan also and had him assemble the block too, all together for everything was $2200 shipped included all machine work, removal of balance shafts, sleeved, balancing with clutch and flywheel.
Dont know what Turbo yet, im leaving in March to"Army Basic" so i just want to get the motor in there all-motor to start-up till i get to my first base. THen i will work with the propper turbo size ect...
I have a Accel DFI computer waiting for the turbo stuff also.

you can reach dan at 714-241-1284

looks nice and sounds like a legit setup. im not familiar w/ CP pistons, whats the story behind them? do they make high compression/custom units? highest comp shelf piston ive found is the 11:1 RE/Wiseco....i need something higher than that. also looking for something in about a 90mm bore....

everything looks top notch and i esp. like the attention to detail w/ the O-ring job.
the cp website doesnt list anything for the F22 although i may have overlooked it. what are some specs on yours other than bore size? stock wrist pin location, normal # of ring lands, type of rings used, piston weight, etc.
im very interested in some custom high comp. pistons and CP seems legit so far. EF-1 has the most useless search function(just like this site does) and for me its nearly impossible to use. a simple search for "F22" on EF-1.com left me w/ 0 matches found.
89mm is cutting it close on the bore and i would like to sqeeze another mm or so out if possible. i see from your block that Benson keeps the open deck design, where as Darton does not. must say that im quite surprised you left it open w/ such "thin" sleeves now.....
for EF-1.com users, whats the best way/forum to get some responses concerning custom 13:1+ CP brand pistons for the F?
