Default For all you daily drivers!!

I know that some daily drivers use drag and revhard...but how do you daily drive them when they are not carb legal?? Do you take all the stuff off when emissions come or what? Because i need my car to be carb legal or just be able to pass emisions so if yall know any tips or tricks please let me know!

I mean i just dont think its worth the money spent b/c i knwo i coudln't peice it back together....maybe a lil bit but not the whole thing i dont have the tools for it anyway. While i would much rather get a Revhard, i think going with Greddy is the safest...plus now they have a streetlegal intercooler so the only thing "illegal" would be the blow off valve which i can take taht off each emission test.

is the blow off valve illegal because it vents into the atmosphere?

if so could you possibly re route the valve so that it dumps your pipe charge into your intake manifold?

The bov releases fresh air that was compressed through the compressor! It is "clean" air so to speak! I think you thinking of the dump tube, which can be re-routed into the downpipe! I don't see why there would be a problem with a bov?

I'm saying, it's a honda, you can just about take the whole thing apart with one 10mm, one 12mm and one 14mm socket.

Some people are comfortable taking it off and replacing it, you're not, so go with something carb legal, like the greddy or edelbrock kit.

What is the purpose of this thread anyway?

Just pull the kit for smog. It is just like taking off an exhaust manifold, with some extra piping. Remove bumper cover,I/C, piping, manifold, oil feed line, plug return line hole in pan, FMU(unit and vacume lines) or standalone like Hondata just unplug. Bolt up stock manifold. 2-3 hours max. On and off half day total. Don't even need special tools, just a floor jack.

The purpse of this thread is that i dont want the GReddy or edel, i want a revhard. I'm not that mechanically skilled only a junior in high school, but i got soem cash....anyways i talked to a guy from revhard and he said that i could just run the cat and take out the fmu and it should pass smog. For visual im just hopin on some luck and get a guy who knows nothin bout FI. As for pigs im pretty much screwed there, unless i slap on a GReddy sticker b/c i already the "legal GReddy somg papers" Anybody else do the GReddy sticker and papers?

If you don't have a visual inspection, it should be no problem passing with a cat.

Why don't you just get a faster car? IMO, making your car fast is a byproduct of all the modifications YOU do to it, and all the things YOU have fine tuned to make it do what it was never intended to do.

If I couldn't do the work myself (or was too lazy or ignorant) I would just buy something else. SRT-4s are pretty cheap.
