Hi all!

I have a 1998 Black GSR.

Current mods:

AEM V2

DC SS 4-2-1

Skunk2 Cat-back

Skunk2 adjustable springs (coilovers)

Skunk2 shift ****

Clear corners

Red "A" emblems (some people think they're tacky but i like red/black )

Planned mods:

KONI yellows

Black Racing Pro N-1 16x7s and some nice tires - http://www.1010tires.com/image...g.jpg

New upper front strut, and lower front/rear tie bars - no upper rear strut bar because my sub box gets in the way and I need my bass

OEM (or replica) ITR front lip/skirts/rear/spoiler - not trying to be an ITR wannabe. I like my sunroof. I just happen to love the way the OE kit looks and ITR spoiler looks more aggressive. fear not, I will have no "type R" stickers etc

If I stay NA:
Skunk2 intake manifold
Skunk2 valves/springs/retainers
Skunk2/Toda stage II (or III if I can find a place to pass my smog with them) cams
CTR or JG pistons to up compression
full port/polish
VAFC

I want to go turbo eventually but haven't had the money to even think about that yet. Of course I'll go for a nice kit or might go to Dynamic Autosports (a shop I always go to) and have them help me piece one together. Either way I'll have them dyno tune it for me of course.

Car doesn't look particularly impressive right now or I'd post some pictures.

the ITR skirts and rear are the same as the optional OE kit for the GSR anyway aren't they?

when I say kit I'm not talking something from wings west that will make my car look like a spaceship designed by a retard. I just meant the OEM itr lip, skirts, rear bumper, and spoiler collectively.

well if I'm gonna turbo I might want to do some other things first.

new clutch, LSD (or type-R tranny), fuel system, hondata, VAFC, (turbo) cams, etc. I'm not sure what most turbo kits come with. just manifold, turbo, piping, intake/filter, injectors, sometimes computer (that greddy blue box everyone hates). Do they even come with intercoolers most of the time? I want to do it right if I'm gonna turbo.

EDIT: oh and would the skunk2 cat-back be adequate for a moderately boosted setup (<10psi)? the piping is 60mm.

ITR and GSR body parts are no different other than the ITR has a front lip and no side moldings. ITR also has the sideskirts body painted. all else is identical.

This guy is confused with the OEM body kit which has the sideskirts and rear valances. there is no ITR body kit.

Okay first off that na list you have will be more if not the cost of a turbo kit, also if you plan to go turbo later dont spend any mroe $ on parts you wont use. Big cams, high compresison pistons, ect....

Figure out what you want to do with the car before you start blwoing $

Also check the groupbuy in this forum for you Type R lip $190 shipped

Welcome to honda-tech

Also on your skunk exhuast for turbo, it will work, but you will lose power as opposed to a 2.75-3"

that NA list would still be more even when you include all the other things you need on top of the turbo kit for it to work properly?

and also I know that the wrong type of cams or things to raise engine compression would both be a step backwards and a waste of money if I plan to go turbo. I'm not going to buy any of those until I've decided which route to go.

Some things I know I'll need to get for both would be:
OBDI conversion (for hondata)
hondata ECU
VAFC
