what is the difference between a cable tranny and a hydro tranny? also can you list pro's and con's and what you would prefer in an eg thanks

 

get a hydro because it is made for that chassis. the difference is the way the clutch is engaged. in the older pre 92 civics they had cable trannies where you press the clutch pedal in and a cable did the job. 92+ they have hydraulic where you press the pedal and fluid is run into the slave cylinder which does this job!
