Default JDM Front nearly done, couple Qs.

It was alot easier than I had expected it to be. The radiator support was partially done, and I finished everything else up. Basically, a DIY. So for those who are thinking they can't do it themselves, you can.

It's not hard, takes time and patience, and available tools. That's it. Anyhow, on to what I need to ask.

What size bulbs do I use for the corner(turning) lights? Not the amber side markers, but the sides on the headlights. Also, where can I get "running" light bulbs? That little peep hole light, that the Japenese use for city regulation driving.

If someone can find this in search, please slap me.

The corners are the same bulb as the US turnsignals I believe and the city lights are wedge bulbs.

One last question.

I was told, 90-93 Integra Hood latch works for the 94+ JDM Front End Conversion, is this true?

yes, or you can reuse your old latch but flip it around

You can definitely do this conversion yourself and it is cheap(only paid 2200 including paint.) The larger turning/running light from the stock corner in the bumper on our tegs will fit into the jdm corner light socket it just takes some massaging. If i was you i would also disconnect the running light wire from that bulb so the light only comes on when you are turning (it looks much better and you already have the jdm running lights in the middle). If you need anything else let me know.

Some new pics of the conversion, DIY. - Thanks for everyones help!

Stage1

Stage2

Stage3

Stage4

Stage5 - Nearly done!

Lower partion was tig welded, the bottom latch area. The top part was mig welded, all done by my Exhaust guy. I followed Mase's howto mainly, and did alot of researching. I jumped into this with a 6 pack, and no regrets.

It will be getting painted next week, and the hood will be aligned then. Let me know what you think.

Yes, DIY is the best way for most things. It feels so good to know you did something yourself, best feeling in the world.

In addition to about 829173927 other threads in the ITR forum. I wish I had attempted to do my install myself. The only thing I didn't know how to do was the welding though.
