there are tons of "which clutch should i get" threads, i suggest using the search function in the forced induction forum.

otherwise my personal opinion would be a 6puck with a heavy duty PP. its very streetable and hold real well.

i reccomend the ACT Xtreme pressure plate with a Street/Strip disc. It also holds good power and is more streetable then the 6 puck. Its good for 319 ft/lbs of tq.

I just took out my ACT XTSS after over 4 years and 55k miles of boost driving.

It held up like a champ the whole time. There was still meat on the disk. But the pressure plate had some minor stress cracks (I'm sure my own fault).

I will be replacing it with almost the same exact setup.

Ben@importparts is sending me the ACT pres. plate with a ClutchNet disk.

clutch masters stage 4. i just went boost and got a stage 3, but i feel a big diff. the pedal pressure is much lower and it feels even better then stock.

thats my 2 cents

I don't think he needs a 6 puck for a b16 at 8 lbs clucthes are rated by torque not how high they rev

ACT HD xtreme street (XTSS) holds up to about 320 ft lbs that should cover you for any upgrades.

don't mean to jack the thread...but what the drivability of the 6 puck ACT clutches and what are the benefits of having a 6 puck or even a 4 puck. is weight reduction the driving force behind these designs?? I drive my car about 100 km(60 miles) a day...so drivability is a concern....thks

if you want drivability don't get a pucked clutch, they are like on/off switches in terms of engagment. no slipping etc.

Sorry but that has to be some of the worst advice I have ever heard

You get what you pay for, poeple who buy cheap **** end up spending more in the end anyways. When they soon realize they bought a shitty product, they end up replacing it, thus spending more than the better product up front. Do it right the first time

Mide as well give my .02 cents This topic? like many others theres isnt adefinite answer, the best to someone maybe the worst choice for someone else.

Figure out your power/torque, your goals, and find someting that meets your goals expectations.

Im fan of act, never had aproblem with them, although i may give the action 2ks a shot see how that works out.
