turbo question on a '90 teg
I got a 1990 Integra with 141500 miles on it so far. I haven't done any engine work on it yet, but in a year or so that will all change and I want to add a turbo kit to it. It's my daily driver right now until I get another car hopefully by next year. So you could add another 10000 miles or so until that day. For an engine with such high milage, is it a wise idea?
if you want to spend the money for a rebuild first i would say do it...but on a motor with so many miles i would say rebuild and then go turbo...or just do a swap and turbo

Same here, but I had 160K miles and I was boosting 8 psi.... eventually blew my headgasket after 5 months of hard daily driving, but no biggy. If you keep everything maintained and not neglected, then you should be fine.

dude buy a used block and send it away to be sleeved. trust me u will regret not doing this. turbo detonation will kill that 160k block.start with internals then build up and add the turbo.to many miled for bolt on kits
