GC ITR coilovers

That's not silver paint. The paint on the Eibach springs had cracked in a couple spots, and there was some corrosion on the springs. I sanded the springs with very fine emery paper and coated the bare spots with WD-40.

I'm not sure what the standard spring rates are for the Type R. The GC's were on the R when I bought it. The GC sping rates felt pretty stiff to me. The only reason I removed them is that I moved up to these... Mugen Lowdowns.

You can buy the adapters from Ground Control. Contact them, and they can give you a price. I believe they are around $45.
