i have no idea what to do....i have no money right now to buy and aftermarket head unit and was wondering what i need to do. I did a bit of research and i found out i need to buy a line level adaptor or line output converter. If some could help explain how i would go about doing this it would be greatly appreicated.

You need a line level to RCA converter. Walmart sells them for like 10 bucks if I recall correctly. Then you will need to decide if you want to tap into the front or rear channel of the stock deck.
