Default Ding-a-ling in the tranny

Got a sound in my tranny like a spring bouncing around. Coming from the clutch area. I dont think it is a tob because it doesnt change with the clutch being released. Did it my last run of the year, that sucks.

GSR tranny, act stg 4, and quaife

Maybe, but it still engages normally.

my friend is going through the same thing, i told him that it might be that the pressure plate may be broken. last night he brought me the PP, and the tranny so that i can look at it. the PP is in great shape, but i noticed chunks of metal inside the tranny where the axles go into the diff. i think he broke the top mainshaft bearring, i'll post what i find when i open the tranny up!
