Default Wiring a/f gauge in an EP

I just got an autometer a/f ratio gauge off someone with no instructions. I assume the red and black wires are a switched power source and ground, and the purple wire is for signal. Where does the signal wire go? I'd like to catch the wire at the ECU so everything is wired under the dash.

Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure but I found some wiring diagrams on the Interactive site. The wire is labeled as the sensor input from the primary o-2 sensor (a/f sensor)
On the large grey connector there are 9 wires. From left to right the 6th one is the red one I think you need. Thats the +sensor input from the factory a/f sensor (primary o-2 sensor)
Hope it works
I really goofed, sorry, ignore the above info...ah---ite.

AF gauge will be useless and will not be accurate. It doesnt just wire up and work 100%. YOu need a special O2 sensor that costs some bucks, dont rem how much.. But the stock one will not be accurate..

You are refering to a wide-band O-2 sensor, aren't you. They are not cheap, but are a valuable tunin guide. Esp for a boosted vehicle. I think the cheapest I have ever seen was still @350.00

if you use the "a/f gauge" make sure you connect to the 2nd o2 sensor signal wire

Only reason I got this thing is because I got it super cheap and its never been wired. I'm not gonna spend the cash on a wide band O2 sensor. It's just a toy.

I did some searching before I posted this and figured out I need the secondary o2 sensor signal wire like B18CXr said. I don't have a wire diagram of the car though, so I have 2 questions...

1. The secondary O2 sensor should be 4 wire if I remember right. 2 wires for the heater circuit and 2 for signal. So I need the + or - signal wire? I think I need the - wire.

2. My searches show that everyone says it's the white wire. I have no idea if that applies to all OBD2 systems though. Can anyone tell me what connector and what color wire it is on the EP3?

I should get a manual for my car.

I'll definately post when I figure it out. It might save someone else the pain in the *** time I'm having figuring it out.
