Best Header for GSR
SMSP, Hytech, JG modified by IB, and most custom headers that cost a pretty penny will out perform any of those headers you listed. What's best is up to who tunes it and what parts you have to compliment the header with. Do a search.
i had a DC ceramic header and i switched from that to a comptech and loved the comptech alot better, it felt like i had more in the low end, so comptech gets my vote
i chose comptech... but only if its the race header
and like said above.. you'll see better results if u buy a big boy header(hytech, headertech, smsp, an-r, toda, etc...) and custom 2.5 exhaust all the way back!

The ITR header would have the most performance gain because of the larger 2.5" collector. Unless you are actually talking about the comptech race header which also has a 2.5" collector. But the race header is not really comparable to the ITR since it is about twice the $$$. Once your in that price range you might as well either keep saving and get a Hytech or SMSP, or at least compare it to the spoon or jun headers. Just my opinion, JFoster

Don't they make knock off oem exhaust products?

So the other comptech header isnt favorable ?
I was gonna get a comptech 4-2-1 not the race header - instead of a regular dc 4-1 (not jdm) i do not have the finances to get 2.5 all the way back

350 max - possibly 4, but just remember i have stock cat and greddy cat-back, so if it requires a 2.5 cat then gotta figure that into the equation
anyone have experience comparing ceramic coated, jdm headers that have had the welds cleaned up and collector fixed up to the expensive brand name headers out there?
First of all, it really depends on how much pocket change you have to spend. If you want the best bang for your buck get the DC Sports JDM 4-1 header. It has a 2.5" collector flange as the JDM Type-R header. But on the other hand if you want to spend some cash on a header, get the TODA header.
Comptech is your best choice but if you do have emissions you should go with the D/C sports(Carb legal issues) or you can also look into the Chikara. 4-2-1
