Default Pioneer DEH-P4300 - cd player died out of nowhere

Last night my cd player died of out nowhere.. i put a disk in and i can hear the laser trying to read it and after a minute or so it finally kicks in but after 15 seconds of playing the speakers get all fuzzy and an error msg comes on the screen. Is there a way to clean the inside of it? the radio and everything else works fine so i wouldnt think its a lose wire of some sort, i looked and didnt see anything wrong. ive tried different cd brands also

Any suggestions or is it done with? i bought the car used and came with the headunit so i have no product information if theres a warranty of some sort or something

your lens is probably dirty. when it does, an error message should come on. at least thats with my old DEH-1300, which is the same year but bottom of the line. u can buy one of those cleaners are best buy or something.

How hot is the cabin of your car getting? I have the DEH-P5200. Back when it was in a car w/o working AC (may the old station wagon R.I.P.) I would get an error message of "HEAT" if the temp got too hot.
