Im getting sick of ghetto-rigging all of my late 80s cars, just to have them break all the time. Youd think youd save money by paying $500 for a car, and just fix it up. Well, Ive proven that theory wrong.
SO, Ive had the S2k bug ever since they first arrived on showroom floors. They are finally starting to come down in price, to the point where I might actually be able to afford one.
My goal in an S2k is to just DRIVE IT. Maybe lower it, intake/exhaust, but other than that leave it the fug alone and drive it.
So we finally get to the point. Are there any known issues with the S2k? Ive heard trannies dont hold up to big power, but I cant see ever being able to afford getting big power out of one. I just dont want to have $400 a month for payments, and then have to buy a $1500 tranny every month, or wheel bearings every other week(Insert Subaru SVX
).
From what Ive seen/heard, there is no reason I shouldnt go with and S2k. Just want to do some research first, and what better place than Honda-tech?
TIA
